Tiger Woods is easily in contention for being the greatest golfer of all time. He is one of the first international megastars of golf and has been amongst the highest-paid athletes in the world ever since the ‘90s. Similar to other star athletes, Tiger gets the bulk of his income from endorsement deals. His known sponsors include Nike, Upper Deck, TaylorMade, and Rolex, among many others. In 2009, Forbes credited the golfer for being the world’s first active professional athlete to earn more than a billion dollars. Moreover, reports say he averages $50-$60 million annually for salary, endorsements, and winnings.

Currently, Tiger is recovering from an injury but will hopefully return soon. All in all, he has earned 81 PGA tour wins and 15 major championships. For all his accomplishments, thus far, he has an approximated net worth of $800 million.
