Coldplay | $600 Million

Coldplay is a British alternative rock band that comprises vocalist Chris Martin, bassist Guy Berryman, drummer Will Champion, and guitarist Johnny Buckland. The band was founded by Chris and Johnny at the University College of London when they were earning their degrees back in 1996.

Coldplay achieved international fame for their track Yellow in 2000. They then released their debut album Parachutes. Two years later, they released their sophomore album A Rush of Blood to the Head which received multiple accolades and acclaim. For the album’s single, Clocks, they earned a Grammy Award for Best Record. In 2005, they released one of their most lucrative albums to date, X&Y. It was the best-selling album in the world for that year. Coldplay then followed it up with another album, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, in 2008. They received further acclaim earning them three more Grammys. Thereafter, their succeeding albums earned similar commercial success and would earn them an estimated net worth of $600 million.
