Elizabeth Ann Hanks | Tom Hanks’ Daughter

Is it any surprise that someone as well-liked and regarded as Tom Hanks reared a child with a strong sense of self? If you’ve never heard of Elizabeth Ann Hanks, it’s most likely because she grew out of her father’s shadow. Rather than riding on her father’s coattails to stardom in show business, she built a successful degree in a different profession.

She worked on some editorials, including The Huffington Post. Often known as EA Hanks in the publishing industry, Elizabeth contributes to various periodicals as a writer. Her work has starred in publications such as Vanity Fair, The Guardian, Buzzfeed, and Time. Her father’s tremendous performance inspired her, and Elizabeth appeared in a few minor roles in her father’s films. Her debut film job was in Forrest Gump and a cameo appearance in That Thing You Do! She eventually chose against pursuing a career in movies.
