Christian Gibson is the son of the Hollywood actor, director, and film producer Mel Gibson and Australian actress Robyn Moore. Christian is known for his works in Hacksaw Ridge, The Equalizer, and Bird Box. With a knack for cinematography, he worked several jobs, including as a cameraman in his younger years. Later on, Christian started to appear in short films and eventually on feature films before deciding to pursue a career in art. He has a degree of passion for landscape photographs, and his art was once featured in Malibu galleries.

While the actor and his father were filming a baseball movie in Mexico, he was involved in an accident in Sonora Stadium in 2018. Fortunately, it was just a minor burn on the ankle, and he was able to return on the set quickly. The Spanish-language baseball film wrapped up in May 2018. The movie title, 108 Costuras, refers to the 108 stitches of a baseball.
