Chet Hanks | Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson’s Son

The son of actors Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks, Chet Hanks is known for his recurring roles on the series Shameless and Empire. He also appeared in the lawyer drama miniseries, Your Honor. Chet’s acting career started in 2007 with his film debut in Bratz, where he portrayed the character of Dexter. Later on, his career picked up with a series of minor film roles in the early 2010s. While a student at Northwestern University, Chet recorded White and Purple under the stage name Chet Haze. The song was a remix of Black and Yellow by Wiz Khalifa.

In 2016, Chet and Drew Arthur formed the musical duo FRTZ and released two singles, Nowhere Land and Models. The duo then released two tracks in 2020, Ticket Out My Head and Harley, under their new name, Something Out West. Chet has a daughter named Micaiah with his former partner Tiffany Miles.
