Alexa Ray Joel | Christie Brinkley & Billy Joel’s Daughter

Now often known as the Piano Man, which is also the title of his universally-acclaimed song, Billy Joel has since become one of the music industry’s most recognized names. Beginning his career during his teens, Billy got his first shot to fame with a live performance of the song Captain Jack. Since then, he has released one smash hit album after another, including titles such as The Stranger, The Nylon Curtain, and of course, Piano Man.

The musician is also a father to three children, all of which are girls. His eldest, Alexa Ray Joel, got her middle name as an homage to Ray Charles, one of the Piano Man’s idols. With that said, Alexa is already following in papa Billy’s footsteps. Writing her first compositions during her early teens, Alexa has since released a couple of records to her credit, including a rendition of her father’s song Just the Way You Are.
