When it comes to action cinema, it would be a disservice not to credit Jason Statham and his contributions to the genre. Beginning his career as a model, he landed his first on-screen role with the Guy Ritchie-directed 1998 film, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. With his stint on the crime and comedy-thriller flick landing him a spot on the public radar, the actor has since gained worldwide fame for his performance in projects such as the Transporter films, Crank, The Mechanic, Spy, and The Expendables movies.

While he’s often known for his tough-guy persona, Statham also has a calm side to him, which was made all the more apparent when he purchased this Malibu beach house. Initially an old surfing house, the property features a gorgeous aesthetic that greatly complements the sand and the waves outside. Recently, though, the Transporter star sold the lovely abode to a new owner for $18.5 million.
