Joe Biden | Delaware House | Estimated $1.6 Million

While he may have had a hard time during his years in school, Joe Biden still showcased a couple of impressive talents. Throughout high school, he played baseball and football. Along the way, he also had the chance to be the class president during his junior and senior years. Although that opportunity didn’t seem like much back then, it’s safe to say that brief stint developed his interest in becoming a leader.

Today, Biden is the 46th president of America. Outside the world of politics, he is also known to spend portions of his investment money on real estate. One of his earliest ventures was during the 1970s. After learning the property was set to be demolished, Biden bought it for $185,000 and immediately repaired the home. Often called the DuPont mansion, the president and his family lived there for at least a decade before finally putting it on the market for $1.2 million. Since then, its worth has reportedly increased to around $1.6 million.
