This Artist Transforms Disney Princesses As Moms Through Her Wonderful Drawings
Most of us grew up with Disney’s marvelous creations. Aside from the legendary Mickey Mouse, Disney princesses took the world by storm. Whether it’s Snow White, Cinderella, Pocahontas, or Belle, these iconic animated characters definitely made an impact in our childhood, and until today, most little girls pretend to be Disney princesses.
Did you know that a Disney fan from Russia recreated these Disney royalties into moms? If you want to see her creative art and gas up your day, check out her drawings below:
The artist
Russia-based artist Oksana Pashchenko has always loved Disney. Even her own wedding had a theme of Alice in Wonderland.
While she was on maternity leave, she was curious about how Disney princesses would look like as moms, so she was inspired to draw them. She began drawing what she imagines the animated royalties to look like pregnant. In an article by BuzzFeed, she said that her pregnancy served as inspiration, and she thought of making a continuation of the fairy tale’s happy ending.
The process
Pashchenko revealed that some of her drawings take her several hours, while the others take her a couple of days. Indeed, the degree of hard work she puts into her art is commendable. Aside from drawing the princesses pregnant, she also draws their princes and kids. The Russian-based artist said she draws what she envisions the princesses’ children would look like. When drawing each child, she looks at the kids in other Disney cartoons and gets inspiration from them.
The Disney princesses on maternity
We are in love with her version of Aladdin and Jasmine. Take a look at how Pashchenko pictures the couple when Jasmine is pregnant. To her credit, the artist did a great job capturing the looks of these characters.
You can also find Ariel, in her black maternity dress, and her baby with Prince Eric if you check out her account. Wondering what Pocahontas looks like if she stayed with John Smith? You’ll find her carrying a baby here as well.
She also has a version of Belle with a lovely blue dress, which is nothing but beautiful. Pashchenko even made sure her drawings have unique details, such as Belle’s baby holding a rattle similar to the character Chip from Beauty and the Beast.
The female artist said she likes to draw the theme of love, motherhood, children, and alike because she is going through these stages in her life. Her investments in her craft are undeniably praiseworthy.
She has also got the Sleeping Beauty, Princess Aurora, now awake with a baby in her belly as well as Snow White looking extra fabulous while showing off her modern maternity look.

Pashchenko admitted that while these Disney princesses turned moms are all lovely, she doesn’t have a favorite. She stated she loves all of them and that she worked hard to display the “quivering and boundless love” of each princess for her child.
In addition to drawing the Disney princesses, the flooring artist also puts her own spin on other animated characters from Disney. For instance, she also imagines and recreates Disney villains at their weddings.
We hope she’ll conduct online classes about art! To see more of her artwork, you can follow her on Instagram and TikTok.
What the Internet says
While we’re amazed at how Pashchenko put in so much effort in recreating the popular characters, Disney fans from all over the globe have something else to say.
One internet user said, “Ariel actually did have a kid if anyone saw the sequel.” Another writer said, “This is so cool! So talented!” A Disney fan even added, “I’ve always thought Pocahontas was so flawlessly beautiful, her little baby would be a cutie for sure!”
